First time posting, I Just replaced my #2 injector line because it was cracked and realized that there are no clamps anywhere on the injector lines. Does anyone know where I could buy a whole set? I have only put ~500 miles on this pickup since I bought it. Any help is greatly appreciated.
I'd just build a couple of clamps out of some rubber and metal bits. As far as I can tell, it's just a vibration dampener.
Thing is, you won't know if you've done it right or wrong... because it will be at least 10K miles before anything fails.
I say this because I've been running without clamps for the last 12K miles -- I took them off before I knew them to be important, and decided to experiment and see what happens.
I did break one, oh, 3K miles ago, but I had also way overtightened that line, and way stressed things while adjusting timing back and forth many times(it broke 50 miles after I had adjusted the timing yet again, when I floored my truck passing someone). I suspect that how stressed the line is will contribute to breaking.
thanks guys. i will check some junkyards. Another question, does anyone know how to tighten the #2 line onto the injector pump without removing the pump? i removed all of the other lines and still cant get a wrench in there.

Modify your wrench?
IIRC, I managed to do it with a standard wrench, but I hand-tightened it as much as possible, and only needed perhaps 1/4 turn to get it fully tight. And no, there was almost no clearance.
There is a magical place called McFadden-Dale Hardware in California that actually has them in stock! IDK if they have a website, but they have EVERYTHING hardware related!
I ran into this many times working on farm equipment. Old farmers wouldn't clamp the lines back, or in some cases, just let the clamps run loose for so long and wear the rubber out then rub a hole in the injector line. Then they would want it brazed!
Turned out my uncle had a whole set and he gave them to me today, however no such luck getting the #2 line on.. i have a workbench covered in wrenches ive modified, none of which work. I guess im gonna have to take the entire pump off just to get one g.d. line on?
