Hey ND,
Do you know if that “//K” code for the 5,500 front axle was used for the F600/F700 thru 1986?
That would really help my search....
thanks,

Been awhile since anyone posted to this thread but need help with a vin the build sheet from a seat I'm looking at says 12/20/1983 but sheet only had 11 digit vin F60EVA21285 looking for insight on year
That looks to be a Truck Specifications List (TSL).
F60EVA21285
F60 = F600 E =
* if 1967: 361 2v
* if 1976: 361 2V XD OR 391 4V XD V = Kentucky plant A21285 indicates build month Aug1966 (1967 model year) OR Aug1975 (1976 model year) (ref.)
Maybe it's a reprinted TSL sheet? 1981+ should have a 17-character VIN, if it was sold in the US/Canada.
[later]
Well, it resembles a TSL. I looked at the TSL for '67-90 and with minor variations they all look like this:
Hopefully, someone with more knowledge will come along and educate us.
