I was rereading this post and noticed that people kept saying nice find. I've actually had the steering wheel for 15 years. It's been in most of my trucks (1976 F350 CC, 76 F250, 64 F100, even in my 89 F350, until I wanted my cruise control back) at one time or another. I've always pulled it off when I sold a truck.
I've never thought much about value of it until my son started asking about it.
I've seen and had several in my hands. I never really thought they were that rare. My buddy usually finds them in trucks he parts out. I believe he usually gets $150 for them if they are decent.
There's a couple things that I know of that he sells for good prices that I should pass on to you guys just don't have the time. He's always selling something...this weeks was 2 sets of D60 fronts along with rears since he can't give them away. Both went for $1300 each....I'm still in disbelief.

The Jeep YJ and TJ guys and other crawlers LOVE D60s... have you priced a set of Rock Jock 60s or Dynatrac ProRock 60s lately?

I haven't but I'll check them out. It just surprises me because I got mine from him for $860 with a new set of 4.10's to put in with a 78/79 steering gearbox and ps pump delivered. But he is my friend.
Wow that stuffs hard to come by out here. it gets scooped up quick.
Yea here too for the most part. I can never find trucks with them but he sniffs them out somehow. Last year he found and sold 5 sets in like a month. There's a guy that I've heard of who he is friends with supposedly has something like 300 d60's of all years. I've had others tell me they saw the piles too and they are huge. People hoard everything these days even D60's.
