Waiting on EBPS Tube and Fitting! couple ?s

I have to leave for my hitch tomorrow for a week and my parts wont be in until Tuesday or Wednesday...My questions are this,
Will I be Ok just plugging the hole in the manifold? How much will it affect mileage? and will it cause it to smoke more than normal?
Any help is appreciated! and thanks

Put a plug in. It should be fine. The ebpv just closes to warm the engine quicker iirc.

The only thing the EBPS controls is the EBPV
It has nothing to do with mpg's

Well from what I was reading cleaning out the tube and sensor is what gave you better mileage.... My tube had a hole in it hence waiting for one.... New to all this but trying to gain as much knowledge as I can..... So I apologize in advance..

An exhaust leak will affect mileage. An ebpv stuck closed or partially closed will affect mileage. Plug the hole make sure the valve is open and you are good to go.

Lever on the bottom of the fitting exhaust side of turbo should be towards the turbo. It moves 90degrees. It will whistle and smoke if it is closed when it should not be.
