Cab Mount Question
New guy here! (well new to the world of 67-72 pickups, I have wrenched on the 73-79s for a long time) I picked up a 68 camper special that I will be transplanting the body onto a 78 f150 4x4 since it had donated its heart before I got it. Anyway it's going to need front mounts and floor pans, I did some research and it seems the oem style are recommended over the stamped ones. Are the replacement floor pans all pretty much the same? I want to fix the cab once so it'll last another 40 some odd years. Is there any problem areas on these trucks I should check?

I picked up a pair of OEM style from NPD Restoring American History | Mustang Parts | Camaro Parts | Chevelle Parts | Ford Truck Parts | T-Bird Parts | Firebird Parts
They were made by Dennis Carpenter Ford Car, F-100 Pickup Truck, 8N, 9N Tractor and Cushman Scooter Restoration Parts and were of heavier gauge and 2 piece rather than the thinner stamped style.
