Modded B-code help

I finished the front spring swap on my Ex last weekend (have a 3yr old and a new born, had to split it up) I have W-codes and I put the top overload spring of the B-code on the bottom of the W-codes. I gained exactly 3 inches (just what i wanted). From what i have read here on FTE the Modded B-codes give about 1.5",is this correct? I am 2" higher in front and want at least .5" to 1" rake. So I need to raise the rear up 2.5" or 3". What would ya'll suggest adding to the B-code mod to get this? I thought about adding the block from the top overload spring to the bottom (edit: bolted to the leaf pack), it is 1", or cut a piece of the slapper bar.
What do you think?

You could try a combination of modded B code and the rear block from an F350, should get your back end up some more, if its too much, run just a straight b code and the taller Block

Truck is looking good, not a color I see often, very nice

I don't like stacking blocks. Just not a big fan of doing it, even though I know it's been done safely for years by many people.

Modded B's, with possibly another extra leaf thrown in, along with the F250/350 tapered 3.5" block is an option.

Another would be modded B's with an extra leaf (reuse the Ex block) and add the RAS, which would be a great combo if you're towing.

You may have to try it and adjust it, which can be a pain.

Others will chime in with their idea's and hopefully one of them will tickle your fancy!

Thanks for the replies.
I would NEVER stack blocks
The "block" from the top of the b-codes will be bolted to the spring pack not "stacked".
WE3Z bolted 2 pieces of the slapper bar to the bottom, thought bolting the block would be kinda same thing.

Josh, I just replied to your PM, before I read this post.
I forgot all about the top overload spacer block, will it fit OK with the bottom of the thick bottom overload plate on the B codes and the factory EX block? I remember it had litttle tabs on the sides to keep it aligned properly. If it will play nicely with the plate and block that 1" may be just what you need! You have the right idea too of keeping it bolted into the pack intead of stacking blocks.
That's a crazy idea, what you did up front adding that top overload leaf, Jamesbfishing and I would never do something like that!
Good luck and keep the camera handy, we love pictures! I like that color too!
I plan to be in NC's OBX in April for a few days, Waves, is that close to your beach?

Thanks Tom,
I can cut the tabs off to make it work. If it doesn't rain this weekend I will be wrenching on the rear, along with a fuel bowl rebuild.
I live in Sanford, NC which is in the middle of the state, we go to the OBX a couple times a year. We usually stay in Hatteras or Ocracoke Island.
This Excursion will mainly be used as a beach vehicle to get the whole family and all our junk to the beach.

Seen a few mentions of stacking blocks, hope nobody took my suggestion as stacking blocks, rather swapping the stock block out for the taller F350 block.

You'll love the EX on the beach, they do very well in the sand. I use mine primarily in spring and late fall to fish in the suds for striped bass (rockfish as they are known down your way). Only other thing I would rather have for this task would be my brothers E250 4x4 Van, that is a bada$$ rig.

Hatteras Village was usually where we stayed when venturing south, loved it there, and the various food establishments, Bubbas (when he was still alive) Creek Side on Ocracoke and the Froggy Dog. Sorry about the tangent......

Ah-ha! THAT's a really cool idea! See now why I said the collective mind of the Excursion forum is better than any one single person?

Not you, James. I thought BeachEx was asking about stacking blocks based on his original post.

Went to Corova Beach with my company last year, it is north of Duck and no pavement! all the "roads" to the houses are sand and you drive up and over the dunes, in specified areas, to get back to your house. You can drive all the way to the fence at the Virginia border.
They use the hard pack during low-tide as the highway, so you have to park your truck in the middle of the beach and follow the tide out with your fishing rods. The park rangers and sheriffs will remind you to do so!
It is a very cool place, bring everything you need and never see pavement until you leave.

I didn't take pics during the front swap, I got in the zone and didn't take any.
I WILL take some of the rear swap since nobody has used the block from the top overload bolted to the spring pack. I haven't measured it to make sure it is at least as long as the Ex block, if it is not I will use a piece of the slapper bar.
