How To Program Keyfob for 99 EB
I'm needing info for my 99 Expedition... I picked up a wireless keyfob on ebay but didn't receive instructions on how to program it. Can anyone please describe the procedure or direct me to a specific site. (I haven't had any luck trying to find the info through google, dogpile, etc) ?

I am assuming you are talking about the keychain remote. Cycle the ignition 8 times and the door lock will cycle. Then press the buttons on the remote one after another and then turn off the ignition and all should be good. I don't believe a second remote is needed as in the case with the ignition key.

It worked using 8 times. I was surprised to find it had deactivated the origianl keyfob. I was able to simply reprogram it using the same procedure.

No problem glad to help. I believe when you add a new keychain xmitter it tells you to press the buttons on all remotes used. Maybe that is a feature to make sure other remotes that were programed to the truck no longer function as in a case if one was lost or stolen.
