head gaskets any suggestions

So im doing the gaskets on my 6.0 in a couple of weeks im also doing the blue spring and a 4" straight pipe and an egr delete do you guys suggest anything else I should do while im in there

Its an 04 extended cab with 210,000

I would replace the dummy plugs, stand pipes, and oil cooler if it hasnt been replaced recently. Has your hpop been replaced?

Depends on the truck and your wallet. I'd put head studs in it while your there. How are you ect and eot temps running? If your delta is higher than 15* might do the oil cooler as well. If original hpop your in Or slightly past the mileage that I have them fail. Make sure you use ford oem head gaskets. If you have any stiction issues and have time look up the stiction fix thread and clean your injectors up. While the turbo is off take it apart and clean it. Clean the heck out of the intake as well. Maybe the updated oil feed and return lines.

Dummy plugs??? I did the oil cooler about a month ago and the hpop I did it about 3 years ago give or take. The intake and turbo I cleaned them when I did the oil cooler. I am putting in the arp studs its the last thing I need to order just trying to get the wife to tern loose on the money for it ha ha.
