Oh forgot to mentioned. The IPR screen was in-tacked but had some grit on it. The screen under the oil cooler was torn on one of the grid sections allowing oil to flow past.
I noticed a lot of carbon build up in the intake manifold and also in the intake ports of the heads. Is this normal? I cleaned inside the intake manifold as much as I could in my parts washer. But the manifold quickly turned my parts washer cleaner to almost black oil within only a little bit of cleaning. The EGR which is not deleted had a fair amount of carbon build up on it as well. I recently cleaned the EGR last year.
Yepper the carbon build up is normal and it is courtesy of the EGR system.
When you go to add the oil you can just add it all through the oil filter housing with the stand pipe removed just make sure at least 2 quarts make it through the center of the filter housing where the standpipe sits so it will fill the HPOP reservoir, and then reinstall the standpipe and new OEM filter with OEM filter cap.
Well here is the problem I'm having now. All back together but weird readings koeo. For some reason the ICP is reading like 3000 and wont allow the truck to start. It has a code saying ICP pressure to high. But if you kinda wait it will drop to zero and allow you to start. Not sure whats going on.
I replaced the ICP and pigtail
IPR
HPOP
HPOP Discharge tube
Oil cooler
blue spring
Thank you. I'll have to check it out and see what I did. I tried to be careful to match them up to the connector I cut off but must of done it backwards. Gonna have to wait a couple says since I'll be at work for 2 days. But thanks again.

It happens from time to time, the giveaway is the full PSI at KOEO.
Engine should start no issue with the ICP unplugged.
I did flip two wires on the pigtail. the gray/red and brown/white got flipped.
I fixed that problem and attached the sensor back.
KOEO
ICP 26.63
ICP Volt .22
IPR 14.84
Truck started right up. After starting and stopping a few times my KOEO numbers for my ICP varied from 20-90. ALso during starts my IPR was between 45-55 couple times crep to mid 70s for a split second just prior to starting.
Well is my truck fixed? It starts up fine now. If the ICP was fried from the wire mix up would it start at all? the high numbers on KOEO normal after restarts or is that a sign of a now Bad ICP sensor?
Looks fine. Hitting 70% IPR is a slight concern if that's a long crank. I mostly see under 45% IPR when starting, which usually is hard to catch as it starts fairly quickly.
Thank you everyone for your help. Looks like the truck is working normal again. Ill keep a close eye on the numbers for the next few weeks to make sure all is well. But its nice having my truck back. Now time to get all the chores done that added up over the time my truck was down.
