Good question. The manual says to inspect brake linings and adjust brakes each 24,000 miles. Sounds a little optimistic to me. The master cylinder is trashed on mine, starting to drip on the floor mat, have a replacement on hand, along with new hoses. The wheel cylinders and shoes were replaced about 10,000 miles ago or so.
Have always hated messing with bleeding brakes. Griots had this spiffy one man brake bleeder got today in the mail. It runs off air compressor, sort of like a hose end sprayer. Good pressure when bleeding means no spongy pedal.
One bleeder, just let it free flow. Open one at a time one pump then let it run for a little while & do the next one ez. have not had help in 40 yrs bleeding brakes never a problem..

Don't drive it enough to wear out brakes.......or at least I didn't before I put on power disc up front. I had put new liners and wheel cylinders on 2002 or so. When I went to power I blew one on back so I changed them both and checked the liners....looked very good.
