2010 f150
Hi
So after being truckless for a few years my minvan sentence has finally ended! I have bought a 2010 screw 4x4 with the short box, 5.4l, and 3.55LS diff! It has 115000 kms on it. I am excited to pick it up and also a little nervous of what problems i may get with a used truck so after years spent in the ranger section of this site I thought i should get settled in the f150 section.
My question is for any advice or things to keep an eye open for with this truck? Any problems or weekness? So far I have seen that there is a cam phasor issue, has this been solved with the 2010 5.4? Also saw there could be some trany issues to watch out for?

I just turned 90K miles on my '09, bought it with 70K. Nothing major, tranny acts weird, I still need to take it in and have them perform the TSB. I've had the engine start to idle rough twice while waiting in a drive-thru, had to give it a lot of gas to clear it up-not exactly sure what that is about. Only other thing is the fan for the air is starting to make some noise, especialy at high speed.
Phaser issues were supposedly fixed in '09, although I wonder if they are part of my weird idle issue. Tranny's supposedly do a lot better after the current flash. I spent a little more money and made sure to get a '09+ to get away from the 5.4L issues so far it has worked out.
Also some guys have issues with Sync, I've never had a problem and won't buy another newer Ford without it.
