Good morning Greg and 700hauler, welcome to the site! I just wander in from Nebraska to pick on these guys! Hey, can we get your first name? Nice to know who we're chatting with!
Greg, you'll be happy to know there was progress on the 67 this weekend!
I used to do the same thing! He'd push the clutch I would shift. Such great memories.
I learned to drive with his 72 F100....manual with granny gear, no power steering whatsoever....Just about one of the hardest ways to learn how to drive...but as Dad would say, once you can drive this truck you can drive anything! And I did! I can still feel the way that steering feels...and shifting those looong shift throws, starting in 2nd, alllll the way up and over to 3rd..ease the clutch...and if you didnt have high enough RPM when you let out the clutch the truck would definitely let you know with a teeth shattering shimmy lol.
Yup, those are some wonderful memories. My Dad said the same thing I think he was right. I have always been able to drive anything I got into.
I am now making those type of memories with my Minion. I think she like my truck more than I do. She already told me that she is taking it when she is 16. According to her, she is only letting me use it while she is too young to drive it.

I learned how to drive in a 72 International pickup. 4 speed, no power brakes or steering. My stepdad said "If you can learn to drive this, you'll be able to drive anything!". Yeah, he was right, that thing was a handfull!

Morning Bruce. I think Greg would look good driving that for the next several years!LOL
Welcome to the NV. March BS thread Buck. It's a pleasure to meet you.
That's one good looking truck you got there.
Sorry to hear about your father. My thoughts & prayers are with you. Losing a loved one is especially hard. It's awesome that you were able to keep the trucks in his memory. Their sentimental value is priceless!
Thanks for the idea Donna, but I think I will still with a flat black.
Summer Coleman Black races her Chevy Nova out at Top Gun Raceway & it's flat primer black with hot pink racing stripes. It's one bad *** car!
Top Guns Race season starts March 29th at 9am for anyone interested! I wish I was able to work it, but I had to turn it down for now. Hopefully I'll be cleared to work after my Dr. appt on April 8th. I'll keep you guys posted.
