Wakey, wakey...rise n shine
Woohoo! It's finally Friday.
Buck -It was great meeting you yesterday. Thank you for stopping in Stagecoach on your way to Fallon. I'm glad you were able to find a tailgate for your truck. I hope Little John didn't charge you a whole bunch. I know he's pricey compared to others, but like I mentioned...when other places don't have what you're looking for, he's probably got it.
On a different note,
Kaedons 14th birthday is today!
I did manage to get her gifts wrapped & pick up around the house yesterday. Now I just have to actually clean. BLAH!
Have a Fabulous Friday & a fun filled weekend.
He didn't screw me on it but definitely charges more than your typical salvage yard. I almost walked away but he finally came down a little on it. It was a good deal for him and an ok deal for me considering it's pretty much exactly what I was hoping to find..so I don't feel totally bent over haha. I will say if you are going to go in there you better know what the stuff is worth or you will walk out having paid more than you would for a new piece haha. He's of the opinion that if he has it, you want it, and it's in good shape, it's worth at least as much as a brand new reproduction piece lol.
Morning everyone. I hope you all have a great Friday.
Donna, tell Kaedon happy 14th Birthday From us.
Well, we signed the papers on our new rental house last night. Now is the dreaded moving part. First I have to finish up my final for this class since it is 50% of my grade.
He all I'm new to the site and figured this would the best place to ask if anyone in the Vegas area knows of a wrecking yard that deals w 70's model trucks. Everyone I've contacted so far has been less than helpful.
Thanks
Dan
what age 70's model? bumps ended in 72 and dents started 73. Both pick-a-parts have 1-3 of each, or did a week or so ago when I was there. What are you after?

Adding ps and disc brakes to my 66. So 73 to 79 will work
If you can't find anything there, you could always call Little John's Auto Wreckers in MoundHouse & Fallon, NV. to see if he's got anything. He might be willing to ship it to you for an additional charge, but you'd have to ask. He is "quite pricey' though.
700hauler found what he needed there, since he couldn't find anything anywhere else.
Good luck to you. I hope you find the parts yours looking for!
