No I haven't but it looks like a Davis Unified HEI Distributer. It's basically a copy of GM's first electronic dizzys. Save yourself some money and just install a Pertronix unit inside your stock dizzy. They work great.

I have the Blue version , works great . only bad to me is size . I recently put new after market gauges in my truck , I had to lift Dizzy about an inch to get temp sensor out and in on intake . Also get the one that comes with wires , wire connections at dizzy are totally different .

I have the stock dizzy with the Pertronix, and it is a fairly tight fit on my '65 F250. I wouldn't consider the HEI, because of the space issue and the fact that the Pertronix works great. Good luck.

It would. I would never run any other ignition system though.

I bought mine from CRT Performance. It came with wires.

I also running the HEI dizzy and have tried all 3 Pertronix units. The HEI seems to be a step up from the Pertronix unit IMO!

Like said above, the down side it's big and ya got a use a carb spacer for stock air filter.

And for some may need to add carb linkage from adding card spacer.

The other up side is the ease of auto parts store replacement parts.
And a cleaner looking engine bay area.

I moved #1 over too #5 hole so looking at the center of dizzy coil #1 is first top left only for better fitment as, I have a holly cross over hard chrome fuel pipe running behind my dizzy. So not enough room to drop the wire down out of the way. Plus it looks better this way..

Since I am already running a carb spacer due to spread bore carb on square bore manifold it ought to work for me. I put the Ford HEI cap on and it barely clears now.......
