honest opinion, liners "suck" they hold moisture in. Bed can't breathe, Rust, rust, rust.

Bed liners

i sandblasted my bed and then went over it with two part epoxy primer then painted it white. it should be pretty sealed it was just so rough that the liner was a necessary evil. richard

If you properly prepare the base metal rust should not be a problem.
