I have broken side windows in cars before. I did not think this would work.

A small center punch also works.

My dad's track hoes have a little tiny hammer with a sharp point by the windows to get out in an emergency.

Better keep my mouth closed during my next wreck. I'd hate for one of my crowns to make contact.

I have a spring loaded center punch and a seat belt cutter in everyone of my vehicles - They are stored where I can reach them from any position I may be in when I'm in the drivers seat. I usually use the punch near the bottom corner of the window
I have used the punch maybe 6/7 times to gain entry at accident scenes and a cutter 3 times

Funny, every time I need to break a window, I've left my broken spark plug at home.

Yes he did! Years ago I broke a side window with a pall peen hammer, took the hardest swing I had. Now use a spring loaded center punch, works like a charm.
