finding gear ratio for mystery Ford 9

I'm trying to figure out what's going on with my rear end.
Trying to determine the gear ratio of my Ford 9 in my 77 F-150. Door code says H2j 3.50. I went to verify this by counting pinion rotation. My one full rotation of my wheel only gets 1.75 turns of pinion.

Some more information that might be helpful is the rear end is open. I checked with both wheels in the air and one on the ground.
The pinion tends to sometimes stop and start while rotating the wheel.
Thank you for any help.

That's a 3.50:1 ratio. If you had both wheels off the ground and a helper turning the other wheel it would turn the pinion 3.5 times.
