I'm not sure on the pioneer model off hand but I know it's a 4 ohm single voice coil. 1,000 watt max. The Fosgate is a P3 2 ohm dual voice coil. 500watts rms, 800 watts max
That is a big sub box. Is your seat all the way back?
I don't think that seat is all the way back. Doesn't seem possible. With my setup mine is all the way back and barely clears the subs when they're pushing out and I have shallow mounts.
I am not sure where all the way back is. I had leather bucket seats out of an explorer when I built the box. Several years later I went back to a bench. It looks like about 2-3 inches left until all the way back. It is comfortable to me and I am 5'8". The box is as shallow as possible for that sub depth with about 1/4" clearance inside from the back wall to magnet. Its made out of 3/4" MDF. I measured it at 9" deep at the bottom, 6 1/2" deep at the top with a height of 14 1/2". I had the grill on before with the bucket seats but it takes up about another 2" of depth. I would definitely suggest a shallow setup with a bench seat. The older I get the less I care about having a sub but it has lasted so long I have not needed to replace it or take it out. I even used it in a commuter car for a few years when gas was high.
