Hey all,
I'm new to this audio stuff. I have a reg cab pickup. Theres not alot of space behind the seats and I was wondering if I could put some 6 3/4" subs back there. The specs on the subs I was looking at required .1-.32 cuft sealed space. How big would the box be for this sub. I was thinking about using 2 of them behind the seat.
i dont think 6 3/4" woofers will be good for behind the seat. might wanna try some 8" woofers. u can get a decent pair of 8"s for cheaper and still come out on top sound wise.
What I was thinking about was using 2 6/34 subs firing upward. I have about 9in behind the seat (with it fully back) at the floor. I really dont need an enormous amount of bass, I just want some more depth. If I put a 10 in which way would it fire, forward?
Sorry to be such a newb, just tryin to figure this out. Thanks for puttin up with me.
A ten would definitely provide enough "depth". A 12 would be even better, for both sound quality and SPL (hey, we all like to crank it every once in a while... )The sub would fire/face forward. Go here Cool Truck Boxes to get some box ideas, or you can buy directly from them. They do provide measurements for the box...
