Hey guys my cousin has a 93 crown Vic, he wants 500 for it. What other parts can I use other than the motor, can I use the front end or is it to old and what about the m/c and the pedal assembly or the steering colum. Any thoughts
Thanks dan
03 and newer CVs have a bolt in front suspension. The older ones had the suspension built into the frame. You would have to do a frame graft to use the front suspension
If you're keeping the fuel injection, you'll need the pcm, fuel lines at motor and tank (disconnect them-don't cut them), exhaust manifolds/crossover, pollution stuff hanging on fenders and firewall-anything hooked to engine harness/computer maybe fuel pump. I'd also get wiring connectors for pretty much all of it (even headlight, tail light, blinker plugs), cigarette lighter, horns, visors, seat belts, wheels/tires (if you keep suspension or go to that lug pattern, headlight switch, You can always throw it away later. Might even cut out some sheet metal for patch panels?
