hey wondering what years of crown Vic front ends work for my 65 F-100 found a 1993 for cheap but everything I read about is 03 or newer is the rack and pinion steering the only difference

03 and up are made out of alum. and are one piece makes it a lot easier to put under the truck don't forget to bolt the bumper back on or weld a brace to keep the frame rails from moving
'02 and older are basically the same design Ford has had in the Panther platform since '79. These front suspensions are not removable as a unit unless one is skilled with a cutting torch.
The currently popular front end swap uses the aluminum crossmember and suspension pieces from an '03 and newer front suspension. The newer suspension in most opinions is far superior to the older design. The newer suspensions are entirely different from and not compatible with the older Crown Vic's.
