e4od tach sensor,

i swapped the 351 windsor for the 6.9,, my problem is how do i send a message to teh tranny so that it can read the rpms of the motor. on the 6.9, the sensor has two wires coming out on top of the ddrive gear for the injector pump, is there a way to splice them into the wirin g of teh truck, with looking at the wiring diagram of the truck. the truck is 92 f 350. teh truck moves , but only has second and drive movement, and no overdrive. I believe the tranny is not sensing the rpm. any help would be great, better fuel milage.

Just what are you working with? The Windsor transmission sure didn't bolt up to the 6.9, and the 6.9 never came with the E4OD. Did you get an E4OD off of a 7.3?
