No he said mainly everything looked good. A couple connectors were bad and were replacing those. But basically pretty good. We're waiting on the machine shop to flatten the heads. It feels good getting it out of the way. Here's the gisp of it.
I'm going with the new sct x4 time and gauges set up and with a 5" turbo exhaust. I think my truck stock is at 325hp? Sound right? What will the hp be after this? Will the bulletproof add any? Thanks.
Bad news... The heads came back from the machine shop and they wouldn't flatten them because there cracked beyond repair. So I'm now looking for a reasonable price on used oem heads for a 6.0... The shop doing it doesn't want me to get the remanufactured Chinese heads. What do you think?
Decided to get oem heads directly from ford. $2800 for both of them :/
SO 2,800 for heads, 2700 for labor + other parts? ouch! Hope it all works out in the end.
I would be curious what your delta is (EOT & ECT) when your back on the road. Could be a good baseline for others since your engine and systems are freshly updated.
This is actually what I'm paying
-4000 full bulletproof which includes labor all parts listed above
-1100 for exhaust/gauge/tune
-2800 new oem ford heads
-600 new steering box and steering pump(that will finally fix my driving 100%)
So 8500 total and I've only owned the truck for 1 month
