Hi guys I have a small porblem with my truck. After i replaced oil pan ,oil cooler and egr cooler noted small oil leak comming from the front of the egine.chek for leak and could not pin point for sure.Leaks between front cover and power steering pump.Oil leaks only if you drive,if its sits at idle won't leak.inspect cam position sensor its look dry. Also four days ago while I was driving on hiway my oil pressure gauge whent to low and ck gauges red light turned on. soon I step on gas pedal oil pressure gauge reads normal. Does not do all the time. It does may be once or twice a day then its fine for day or two. Any ideas??? Thanks.

 

Front seal, HPOP, camshaft seal ?? I've had the same issue once when replacing the STC fitting on one truck, it's the HPOP that started leaking on the front. But I've never experienced that linked with a MIL on. Clean the engine thoroughly and see if you can identify the origin of the leak without having to take everything out. If the front camshaft seal goes it sends oil all over the front of the engine. Oil pressure gauge problem linked or not to issue is not clear. That needs to be tested with a diagnostic system.
