Does anyone know about the Spectra c132 radiator. I need to replace mine, I have a '72 F100 with a 360fe 2wd no A/C. Or a recommendation of a good one. It's a 19" X 26" with 3 rows.
Thank you guys for all of your help. I would be up a creek without a paddle.
try to get one that's for a factory a/c truck. they usually have a higher cooling capacity, unless you can find a "super cooler" radiator at the junkyard. you can't miss them. the tank up top is massive. do a google search, and you'll see what i'm talking about. if the inlet/outlet need to be swapped, it can be done at a local radiator shop, plus fixing leaks, pressure test, etc.

three row is plenty, you wont have a problem with it.

2X Dude but you'll need a different fan shroud. Especially if you want air pulled through 3 rows.
I don't know for sure since you didn't provide a link but looks like it has aluminum core and plastic tanks? I would stay away from that, (me personally). I tried to order brass and copper one from O'Reilly and it came in plastic and aluminum with flange in wrong place......ended up going to a radiator shop and paid more to get one that would actually fit. I almost got an aluminum one from ebay, they can be had for around $200.
The only trouble with the supper cool Radiator is the top tank header plate flexes and over yrs of use it leaks at the tank solder joints. I never ran a shroud when living in the desert of 12yrs. all while running a clutch fan. Never had any heat troubles with it.
But now on my second radiator since 1978. The first radiator had the top tank seam leak fixed about every 6yrs or so until it needed recording. about 10 yrs ago that been fixed once since being record. My whole cooling system is about 26qts.=6.5gallons of coolant.
But if you don't have a need for this big 4 row supper cool rad then use what's been working for you. Because mine is now a $200 a pop to fix the top tank when it leaks with R&R it. These big radiators are damn heavy and now it's become to hard on my back to save a 100 bucks by pulling it myself. my 2cents..

Super Cooling radiator is 26 1/4" wide x 24 1/4" high.
Not only is the fan shroud different, but it uses a different radiator support than the standard/xtra cooling and A/C radiators that are 26 1/4" wide x 19 3/4" high.

As in the vertical brackets that bolt to core support on one side and to the radiator on the other side? The brackets are heavy gauge sheet metal bent like this: [ ] There is a left and right of course. They are about 4" deep placing the integrated radiator brackets 4" towards the engine from the core support?

I have the 24" high I got out of an f600 in my 65 and the only issue was if I put it in the original holes it touched the hood. So I had to lower it about 1/2 inch. I don't use a shrowd, but it runs normal regardless of the outside temp, even in bumper to bumper with the 390. I"m in Mass. so we don't get nasty hot, but we get 90.
