this pump would only pull 10" of vacuum

Vacuum switch on 7.3?
Is their a vacuum switch on a stock 2000 ex 7.3 and if yes where??
I took all the lines off the vacuum pump and plug the line coming out of the vacuum pump and it still did not turn off.

If you remove the line from the pump to the vacuum reservoir and put your fingertip over the port on the pump, it should stop running almost immediately. If it doesn't, it's probably time for a new pump.
