FREE BEER... and Pizza ....For the person than can decode my VIN tag on this tuck. Beer and Pizza served in my shop. 
already Have the first 5 numbers and letters figured out.....But am still seeking info on the last 6. Last 6 numbers are: W40431.... THANKS

I was expecting "Free Beer Tomorrow"........it gets me every time! I can tell you the obvious ones that you have already likely figured out......176 is wheelbase length, 21700 is Max GVWR, the "J" after the 54 code under axle denotes power steering...........With all the fuel money im gonna save by not driving all the way to Wa state for free pizza and beer, i can buy a pizza and several beers here in Oregon. Thats one mighty cool truck ya got

You make a good point, therefore ..The Compensation package... for the decoding... will be a trip in dump truck 10 miles out of town to shoot the oxy-acetylene golf ball canon at an old appliance (clothes dryer) on the hill side 1/4 mile away. Activity will involve more beer consumption.
