Exactly what I needed privateer, I already figured out the 2 1/4" dia filler hose but couldn't get any info on the vent tube.
Thanks a whole lot for going to the trouble. Will definitely do a photo journal when I do this repair.
First I have a brand new, minor trans leak that just appeared today... such is ownership of a 40+ y/o truck

No prob's the tank was right beside my workshop/shed. Your the one who's got to get that tank out. If you want I can measure how thick, high the tank is as it's readily available to measure. You could make a cardboard dimensional template to see if it's possible to get the tank out. I'm doing a class tonite so I would have to measure it Friday am.
