I'm gonna reread this thread from a diag standpoint,, the first read I was focusing on the similarities of what we all did a couple months ago in New Orleans.
Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
I thought I had the Pinpoint for that but its Not Justa Troubleshoot for DTC P2138 P2139 P2140
But its got the 3 Tracks and there voltage to check per Closed throttle and WOT Plus I have the SGII Info to for KOEO Idle and 2500rpm
Im sure one of the guys can get us the Pedal pin point test if we need it
We will check it all this time Carl
Alternator and Every wire in the charging system and complete the Alt Pinpoint test
Gas pedal all 3 Tracks
And the FICM Connections
will start there and dig deeper if we must
Carl we wont Buy a Single part until we are Positive it tests Bad I think it will be a wire or loose or dirty connection on a wire
Everything can be tested I just got a little Lazy last time Guess I thought an alt would be a Slam Dunk it wasn't we Should have just pulled it to have it Bench tested
But that alt Pin point test will check it over good its a Sweet test
But sounds like he is Having some HPO Problems now I did mention to him he had the wrong Oil Filter cap on it when I went down
So we will see what he finds
Carl got a SGII Guys

In order to get the proper boost value enter the MAP XGauge. Get a reading
from it with the key in the on position but the engine off. Based on the reading change
the last 4 digits of the MTH value that corresponds to your reading in the table to the
right.

Note: This one seems a bit odd, but try it out and let me know if you need finer resolution. This one will go by whole numbers, but the range is something like +/- 32 Volts which seems weird for a sensor – they’re usually 0-5 volts
