67 6 wheel drive train

67 6 wheel drive train

I volunteered to work on a fire truck that is 6 wheel drive got it running but now the 2 rear drive shafts turn but now neither set of wheels will turn not sure what to do next.

Are these two speed axles? Maybe the shift is not all the way high or low speed.

yes it is a 2 speed axle I did try to move it into several positions with no luck and has 110 lbs of air pressure

Thinking that I might need to start checking the air lines from the front to the back or would it be better to start at the rear.

You might have more luck in the large truck section here:

If the primary driveshaft spins and does not turn the front axle or rear driveshaft, then the issue is likely with the splitter in the front axle. It is a locking differential that allows power to go to both axles, if there is a failure there power stop there. See if turning the inter-axle driveshaft turns the rear axle, it should be a direct connection.
