Oil level fine, HPOP reservoir full, no white smoke, wouldn't fire with shot of starting fluid. Pro-Link will do buzz test and all is fine.

Got it running, thought maybe the new cps was bad, got one from ford for 22.00, installed still no start. replaced IPS, still no go. Replaced IPC, now starts and runs like it should. Wonder if the nut being off and the electrical part vibrating around caused it to fail? Oh well, got a spare cps now! Also got my sanity back! Thanks for all the suggestions.

Glad you got it running. Tell me what part you replaced that fixed it. Was it the ICP or the IPR?

For the
nut being off and the electrical part vibrating around
I am thinking it would have to be the IPR. The ICP doesn't have a nut securing anything.

Exactly.....I thought he probably meant the IPR when he was talking about the nut, but he stated IPS and IPC. It does get confusing with all of the acronyms though.

Whatever he replaced I'm glad he got it fixed.

Yup, IPR. Wish they sold the solenoid part only
