The coil pack went back because it's 12 years old. There is no maintenance needed or recommended for a coil pack, and they don't give a crap if the truck is pushing snow or cruising empty down the highway. There is nothing that can be done to prevent them from failing.

what did you do to the y pipe? I have broken studs and I'm thinking of headers and a new y pipe for my 2000 V10?

I just cut out the down sized section of pipe and welded in larger pipe, makes a huge diffence

you mean right where they join together? that looks like a big bottleneck. Are your manifold studs okay, or did you have to change them out also?

Replaced driver side manifold and studs, then I redid y pipe, common problem on fords to bust studs
