trouble w/7.3 psd.
Hi, my names kevin, i've recently joined F.T.E. I have recently purchased a 95 F250 kingcab w/ the 7.3 ltr psd & automatic, it's a longbd also.w/250kmiles & 80kmiles on the tranny. This is my first Diesel. I've allways heard such good stuff bout this truck plus I'm a Ford guy so here goes,when i got the truck on my test drive it died a couple of times at low idle, it was a one owner/same family truck.got it from the Son.He said that it was probably running like that because it needed a new fuel filter& batteries..so got those.still stalls at low idle? Then the other day i went out to start it & it wouldn't start then i saw the grey smoke,maybe i just didn't let the plugs warm-up long enough before turning it over.i put it on trickle charge for awhile & put a new valve on the brake booster n tried it again & it started w/just alittle grey smoke,let idle for awhile then turned it off then staed it again,this time w/ no smoke n it seems to idle fine but still cuts out/missing?
