Having a rough idle on my 7.3 PSD

Have a 99 7.3L PSD , here recently it's been hitting some tough idle spots here and there mainly after some lead footing iv seen on a lot of forums that they are saying the change the (IDC) or to pull the valve covers and check the injector plugs the truck runs fine cold it's mainly after it's been running and I have to give it alittle more fuel and I also feel a surge under a higher throttle load any ideas or thoughts would be very helpful thank you

I would lean toward the IPR needing a good cleaning and new o-rings before anything else. Running well cold and worse warm is usually a sign of it being IPR related.

It would also probably be a really good idea to check your fuel pressure at WOT, by the way.

Got some breakthrough somewhat

Havnt checked anything yet but got a few codes hopefully someone can recognize them and she'd some more light on my problem
P1280
P1249
P0478 exhaust press control valve high
P0470 exhaust press sensor
P1211
The truck still idles rough but it's only every few days an after it's been running for at least 15 miles

P1211 - ICP pressure above/below desired - IPR failed/stuck/shorted to ground
P1280 - ICP out of range low - Open/grounded circuit, biased sensor (this is probably the cause of the P1211 code as well)

This could be either a bad IPR valve, a bad ICP sensor, or a wiring problem. Check the engine harness at the 42 pin connector, it's known to rub on the valve cover and chafe wires. Also, check the the ICP sensor for oil in the connector socket. I'm still leaning toward it being IPR related, but it isn't the only possibility. Do you have any diagnostic software you can use to log data while driving?
