Help Please

My front driver side wheel is making a clunk noise when i hit a bumb. i replaced the wheel bearing hub assembly and discovered both axle seals were bad. Any input to the problem

A complete front end check is probably warranted. I would check the leaf springs/bushings and tie rods ect.

I checked all bushings but not the tie rod ends. also my axles seals were bad and possibly a bearing in the axle tube? This is my first ford so idk

I would stop in to the local alignment shop and have then take a quick look.
I don't know but some places will do a safety check for free or under $30.00

That would give you some ideas on what is happening.

does it make a clunk when you hit the brakes too?

Not when it hit the brakes just on bumps. Its lifted 6 in on 35s so idk if the axle is out of alignment but its parked until next friday when i get paid

I would also have a look at the spring bushings on that side.
The shocks also have a rubber type bushing.

Bad bushings will give a clunk as the part moves. Then
there is the track bar bushing.

If you are taking the dust cover seals at the end of the shaft. They have updated those to a newer design that seems better.

You have to pull the wheel/hub assy to get to them though.

Thanks senix! I pulled all that off yesterday so it shouldn't be a problem
