Here are some things that I have noticed with my new boost gauge installed.
Just driving around town I will have no boost. Doing 80mph @ around 2000rpm I have about 5 to 8 psi. On WOT its around 20psi. Are these number right? If im not on the gas I have no boost.
Jason, I have yet to throw a code with up to 30# boost. My lite has not come on yet. I don't do the high boost often, but when I do I get lots of turbo surge.

those numbers sounds right. you need to stomp on it to build boost (climb a hill), but I never really want to take it over 20. cruising on the highway @65 i see 3-5.
I just started the install with mine and boost is the first one up and running , i have the same numbers too . next will be trans then pyro what number will i see when there wired up?? i,m all stock but the filter......... for now!!
Really? I cant get over 26#'s even on the 140 setting
Yes, I can get it up to that. I don't have any leaks with my boots. I have to let off on the go pedal to keep it at 25# boost, and she is still pulling. I don't know if it is because I have a very heavy truck on not. But I can build that kind of boost.
My truck with an SCT programer gets up to about 24-26 psi. Its about 3-5 on the highway at 70-75. I don't have the overboost annihiator. I think I'm going to get the wicked wheel next. Will that change my max psi?

they will vary some depending on outside temps. the warmest I have seen my tranny at is ~165 just empty truck. pyro will vary, but it won't be too big of a concern with a stock, empty truck. you'll notice it will climb faster once you get a chip. just remember to keep the pyro under 1200. just watch out, it is easy to let gauges get out of hand. you'll want to start keeping an eye on everything, lol.
