Hello, I just picked up an 99 Expedition EB. The drivers side mirror has broken and the bracket the glass attaches too is broken also. I do not care if my mirrors are painted to match the vehicle, nor do I care if it has defrost or turn signal. Can I just replace both of the mirrors with power mirrors? I find quite a bit of them for sale locally or on EBAY. I was just wondering if they wiring harness is the same and if I can just replace my stock mirrors with power adjusting mirrors?
Thank you.
Well crud, I guess I will just keep looking for a replacement "memory mirror". No harm in asking. At least anyone else wanting the same information can see this post. Thank you.
Is this what you need?

That is a 2 Gen mirror. I imagine I can find one that is for the left side and just paint it. I was hoping to just do away with the defrost and turn signal and just run power adjustment mirrors. They are easier to find.

If you have a 2003 Expedition, that IS a 2nd Gen Expedition. The mirror Alloro posted is the correct mirror assembly for a 2003 EB Expedition.
A 99? Okay, then how about this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/00-01-FORD-EXPEDITION-DRIVER-LEFT-POWER-HEATED-MIRROR-W-SIGNAL-AND-MEMORY-OEM-/171182904847?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3AExpedition&hash=item27db4bd60f&vxp=mtr
You can paint or change the red cover to match your vehicle's color.
I assume that if needed the painted area can be removed safely. I thought about removing one from my Lightning and seeing if it would work, then just buy power adjust instead of heated. I didn't want to remove anything off my truck if I didn't have to. So glad I found this one. Thanks everyone and Merry Christmas.
Well, neither of those are going to work. They are both just like my Lightning mirror with the red turn signal on the outside of the mirror. Mine has the actual arrow in the glass. I will keep looking. Looks like they changed them in 2000
