Oiler cooler PSI testing?

Is it possible to have the oil cooler PSI tested for leaks?

I've seen many post for people just replacing them but was wondering if they can be tested?

Sure, make block off plates for both ends and install an air fitting in one of them and pressure away.

Its easier than that.

Use a finger to block off one of the coolant passage tubes at a time and plug a mity-vac in the same tube on the other end. Draw a vacuum and watch if it leaks down. You dont need to go more than 15inches. Coolant only sees a +15 psi in a healthy motor.

Before you go to the trouble of removing it, what makes you think it's leaking?

I plugged the small hose with a pen and puffed the deagas bottle up with 15 PSI air on the open tube (cap still on to vent over 15 PSI). I have also used a Harbor Freight radiator tester to puff up the coolant system to 15 PSI and let it set overnight.

I made an aluminum plate that I bolted the assembled cooler to, applied air pressure through the block heater fitting. Gauge and ball valve....checked for leak down.
