I just did mine recently. It isn't a bad job at all. I recommend getting new lines, at least the high pressure. The pump is about $100 and iirc they are all made by Cardone so it really doesn't make much difference where you get it unless you are opting to get a new one from Ford. There are just a few bolts holding it to the bracket and you need a special tool to remove the pulley (you can borrow it from most parts stores). I used the plumbers tape on the threads going into the steering box and I recommend you do as well - mine leaked at first and I had to put on more tape.
Do u know what the tool would look like or is called? And I'm not familiar with the gearbox at all and didn't even know it had lines into it. Can I get those high pressure lines at the basic auto parts store with the gearbox too?

The tool is a pulley tool set. They will know what you need at the store and most of them let you borrow it. It simply clamps on the pulley and let's you get the old one off and press the new one on without damaging the pump. The lines should be accessible. You will need to see if your pump has 2 return lines or 1 if you buy the one with the bottle attached, or you can swap you bottle over to the new pump. Basic hand tools are all that is necessary except for the pulley tool. Line wrenches make it s little easier. I would spray the line fittings with some PB Blaster now if you can so it has a chance to work in there.
