Fuse 45???

Hey guys,, my DVD isn't working properly because I had to replace my laptop,, but can anyone tell me where fuse 45 gets its power from?? My schematics aren't pulling up,,, freakin drag. It's a 06 with no crank or inst cluster,, but has radio and remote crank wire is functioning. But fuse 45 has no power feeding it. On the road fixes suk. Lol

Fuse 45 is labeled IGN SW RUN/START FEED

0nly print I can get to quick shows power coming from starter to starter relay CTRL to ignition switch. Not sure it's the same circuit.

Thx Rusty,, wish I had a under dash fuse panel schematic. No power feeding 22 and 45. I've never dealt with any fuse links on these,, not even sure where they all are.

Sorry Run, got sidetracked. I can't find a pertinent schematic. I do have those labeled pics here:

^^^----under hood fuse panel

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/p...ctureid=110887
^^^^----under dash fuse panel

Of course if you have an owners manual with ya you got that part already.

The fuseable links are down the red wire from the passenger side battery + post down toward the starter. Several wrapped up together.

I'm guessing it cranks with the jumper and there is ground at the start relay (307 under the dash)?

This truck had issues. Lol. I guess about 10lbs of dirt will give a CJB issues. We aren't with it now,, but it's got no communication with,,, well,,, anything. Lol

I'm gonna go ahead and follow this through so when it gets searched on the forum,, there will be a conclusion. Sofar,, it has bare wires to the vgt connector, which are separated as of this moment, and the 116 fuse circuit was obviously dusted to the point of making no contact. It now cranks and has instrument cluster lights.

I will take any n all advice. I ran outta light n heat to keep checking circuits,, but there's gotta b more fuses not making contact.

Fuse F2.22 is supposed to power up when the PCM relay energizes to complete the circuit to power up the PCM. F2.45 is supposed to supply power to the 4WD control module and the instrument cluster.

So the link from 22 to the PCM relay is internal to the CJB?

The truck ended up having a hpo issue,, along with the fuse 102 not making contact. But all is well with the electrical issues.

At least you got lucky finding the fuse quick. Electrical is such a headache sometimes.
