1990 TANK SELECTOR SWITCH
My 1990 TANK SELECTOR SWITCH F 250 is melted and ford dealer said they can get the switch for $54.85 but they can not get the plug pigtail that melted all so. What good is the switch if the plug is burnt? Dose any one know how to put a different type of switch in. The stores are telling me the switch for the 1992 is different. Any info. will be helpful.

I would suggest a pick-n-pull for the wire pig tail and switch. If you must go to the dealership - the one by me has a book that has pictures of all types of plugs and whenever I don't know what plug/part it is they let me thumb through the book and I have had luck finding the correct plug.
