78 highbeam switch

Has anyone replaced the floor highbeam switch on their truck? If so any issues and where did u get a new one from ? I can't find one on LMC.

Should be able to get it at Rock Auto or Napa.
Two screws and one electric plug. Simple to change.

What Mike said. Easy to replace and easy to find. This switch was used on many Ford vehicles for many years.

thanks guys, i just hooked up some off road lights to my highbeam switch so i started using it more often and it seems like its gettin rough goin up and down.

C0TZ-13A024-A .. Dimmer Switch (Motorcraft SW-263) / Available from Ford and a gazillion autoparts stores.

Applications; Myriad 1960/1996 FoMoCo Passenger Cars, Trucks, Bronco's and Econolines / Some 1997 and later FoMoCo vehicles.

Yea the local AZ or NAPA stores even advanced autos carry them...they are not that expensive maybe even less then lmc.....

Why buy the switch from a repro parts seller, then pay shipping charges...when you can waltz on down the street and buy it at any autoparts store?
