Juniors are two-legged but I figure the third, steady arm and extra clamp can just be removed. However, ya might be paying an extra premium for something that won't be used.
The '67 has the common swing-away mirrors now and they don't extend far enough to see past the sideboards. The truck had some type of mirrors that had three mounting points in the past. If I'm lucky, these will fit/adapt to the old mounting holes.
I was only bidder on the mirrors. From what I found here the price was not to high. My truck currently has grain sideboards and the swingaway mirrors that are on it are useless. I hope I can make them fit with out having to dirll more holes.
I've got about a million 1/4 - 20 stainless acorn nuts I got at an auction. The local Ace Hardware has a fair selection of stainless bolts. I hope the local glass shop can cut me some replacement glass if needed. Ah, to be able to see what's back there. After driving around 2,000,000 miles with only side-view mirrors; I really missed them on my short drive to almost get this truck home.
Dee, I'm about to get a few sets of glass made for mine as I only have one with the glass in it. Maybe we can work a deal on some of those acorns
I'll get a photo of the acorn nuts posted today. They are a bit longer than most I've seen, but that gives more thread to take up bolts that are not the exact length needed.
Depends on how many people want. Since I'm already getting a set and a spare for myself I was going there already. I'd just charge cost plus actual shipping to your location. I'll talk to my glass guy Monday and see what it's going to run. Might not get a quantity discount even if we get to 10 sets. Dunno. Ben will have the answers for me. I've done a bunch of work with him in the past. Great guys down at Raleigh Glass and Mirror.
