Bronco seat question
I'm getting ready to restore my 86 regular cab F150 and would like to replace the bench with Bronco buckets. I was wondering if the Broncos came with short backed bucket seats or tall and what would I have to do to get them to fit?

Bronco's had both high back and low back seats, plus some had bench seats as well. I have a set out of high back seats out of a 95 F150 super cab truck in my 80 Bronco. Check under your truck; the holes should be in the floor for the buckets.

My '79 Bronco has what I believe are the mounting holes for both the Bench and Bucket seats. They mount in different places. Probably covered with a Rubber plug of some sort. You would need the rails for the buckets if the holes actually are present in the floor of your pickup. Since you have an '86 and it's a pickup, not sure if this is useful information but it may help.
