Navigation DVD Advise

I just bought a used 08 350sd w/factory 6cd and navigation unit. Radio and cd work great. navigation doesn't. I get message cd is scratched or dirty. CD is scratched, when it does work it makes a weird clicking noise. Most of the time it doesn't work. My concern is will a new CD work, no one around here has one to try. Hate to spend $ for new cd and still have a head unit problem. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

Any idea if you can burn a copy? I don't recall if they required a dual layer dvd that year or not, but thought I'd mention it.

I have the latest 12P disc for sale if your interested. The clicking noise you hear is normal of a scratched disk. romangcny@yahoo

The dvd loaded properly. My dvd player is the problem. Still haven't removed it for service. The gentleman that sold me the dvd was straightforward and very helpful.
