I am installing the factory premium A pillar tweeters in my 2012 F-350 XLT Reg cab. My question is getting through the factory harness that goes from the door to the inner body panel. First, does anyone have/know of a diagram that lists which plugs are for the tweeters(in the factory plug), or second, if I can't find those wires, suggestions on how to cross the gap. Thanks in advance
The problem with going with the stock tweeters if your vehicle didn't come with them, is that a vehicle with these stock have a crossover mounted on the main speakers that the tweeters connect to. I replaced the main speakers in mine to better Pioneer speakers but kept the stock tweeters, when I did this I had to remove the crossover from the stock speakers so I had those to keep running the tweeters.
I assume you mean the circuit board that is mounted in the plastic. I was thinking that I would have to eliminate that. My problem is either finding the stock wires in the harness, or getting across some other way
