I have a question about steering stabalizers,1 vrs 2,,,,any input to the benefits of having a duall setup or is one good enough,,,my rig is a 4x4 hb.thanks for the help
I know with 15x8s and 31/10.50-15s that are balanced ... my '77 with '78/9 steering linkage has never shown any hint of steering wobble and it has a single stabilizer.
Im running 37 x 12.50 bfg radials,,maybe Ill start with one and see how that is,,,unless Im informed that Im making a mistake, thanks tbear with the quick response
I picked 2 only because I liked the way it looked I guess. My buddy runs the exact same lift etc with 38's instead of 40's with a stock stabilizer. It seems to me as long as everything is tight in the steering you can kinda pick what you like.
I run a single cheapie ProComp with 35" tires and have no problems. I can take off my stabilizer and still get no wobble, vibration or whatever else. Personally, I kinda think that they work as bandaids to hide worn steering components. It didnt help at all when I first bought my Bronco and had horrible track bar bushings.
After a good set of polyurethane bushings, I've never had issues again.
