Tuner
Just bought a 06, I want to know what do you guys think the best tuner would be I am really interest in the innovative Diesel sct sf3 handheld any other better choice? Really looking for a all around tuner, eco, tow, and a good horsepower program.

There are quite a few tuning companies out there. Some people will try several tunes and use their favorite. People like Brand X, but don't like Brand Y (and vice versa). It's Baskin Robbins out there for tunes. Innovative is a great choice. Just remember to work with them to make adjustments if needed.

The tuner is made by SCT. The tunes are written by Innovative and loaded into the tuner. I do run Innovative tunes because that's what the truck came with when I bought it. I can't say it's better or worse then any other since I have only used Innovative. I will say my truck ran very poorly on the "canned" tunes, but runs great on the custom tunes. I run the custom tow tune and really like it. It think the PCM strategy makes a difference also.

Most of the tuners will offer the SCT with a set of custom tunes with a price break. I know Matt @ Gearheads and Vivian @ Quicktricks does that.
But once you the SCT Tuner you can then shop around and try tunes from anyone

I've ran Idp as well as gearhead and really didn't have a problem with either. But I just received some tunes from Drew at backroadperformance and am very pleased with tunes as well as the price of the tunes. Hands down the best tunes I have ran.

Ok I'll have to keep that in mind because you get 3 customs tunes with it as well. Does anybody know how edge juice with attitude is?
