Sounds like the o rings and gaskets were changed but not the HPOP or STC

But removing th HPOP will drain the reservoir and likely empty the HPOP as well.

Correct, we pulled the HPOP with the intent of changing the STC fitting but we found that it already had the updated one. But yes, everything got drained.

We do have at least 3 mins of cranking.

Well that should have been enough crank to fill it

Pull the IPR and Inspect it

Have you verify LPO Flow into the oil filter house??

Got a Gauge or anything to get more info from ??I suspect you do since you reported ICP Value

Post these at KOEO and again at Cranking
ICP
ICPV
IPR%
FICM MP
FICM LP
FICM VP
FICM SYNC
CMP/CKP SYNC
VOLT
RPM
FPW
V-REF

Why was all this work done was it preventative or was it broke down???

Work was mostly preventative. The EGR valve was wet so it was time to deal with it.

I verified LPO via the idiot gauge on the dash. I do have AE to check the parameters you listed. I am out of town till tomorrow but we will check them out and report back.

Thanks

Did you replace the oring between the branch tube and the one on the bottom (suction side) of the HPOP when you reinstalled it?

If that's the yellow one on the bottom of the HPOP, yes we changed it. As well as all new orings and screen on the IPR.

Just checking but did you make sure you got that ground wire hooked back up on your ficm harness on the drivers side valve cover?

Well they are alot different. 7.3 has 2 valves per head and 6.0 has 4. 6.0 has vgt turbo 7.3 does not. 7.3 has 6 head bolts per cyl, 6.0 has 4. 6.0 has bed plate 7.3 doesnt. List goes on and on.

For real? Come on he just stated that they were more alike then the older 7.3s. I believe he said like twins just not identical.

Fraternal Twins maybe? More like half-brothers considering the HUEI.
