E-350 Engine Swap, Need MOD Expert!
I was over in Vans forum and they said to come over here with my question.
I have a 1998 Ford E-350 Van. The engine is toast and I need to installed a new (used) engine. I would like the PI Heads and I am trying to figure out what is the best year of engine to get (and what it will take to install). I am having a mechanic do the work, but I want to ensure that i get the right engine, and then do as little work as possible for the most power and most reliable engine.
Can I put in an e350 PI engine with no modifications?
What is the newest year engine I can install without major modifications?
What is the story with the Intake manifold issues? is 1999+ the better engine to get?
Any help or anyone that has done the swap would be greatly appreciated!
